Messages From Above

God is calling….not just me but all those who sit quietly and wait on Him…

A Message from God 1

Resting in the shade on a beautiful cool, crisp afternoon, I’m in between responsibilities. My love for life grows like the spring flowers on my porch. Nothing compares to gifts from God! The hummingbirds have flown south due to the encroaching season. This is a most beautiful time of the year. God above all, turns His harvest to many shades of amber and gold. Every tree is a different shade; I sit in amazement of all his splendid wonders. What an awesome Father we serve!

God protect and save the child that tries to live by your Holy Words from heaven.

I hear the bells that praise Your name and Christ, on High, delivers us from evil. A peace comes to calm the quiet and remaining still, I drift off like a fawn wandering in a meadow. Though my body may be old and tired, my soul rejuvenates by Your spirit. So I try to put into words that which is expressed from the mountaintops. God is calling….not just me but all those who sit quietly and wait on Him. It’s a wonderful feeling to have His spirit penetrate my tomorrows!

Isaiah 40:31

But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.

Casting the seed to the winds as though the sparrows will nurture, God shall bring them wisdom for they know not which way to fly. He is our only direction. Keeping us near His bosom, we desire those dreams of our heart.

I pray for every person that my writings touch you in some way. May they help pave your pathway to our Father. For it is He which saves the weary, cleanses the heart and strengthens the spirit on a cool, crisp afternoon such as this.

A Message from God 2

It’s a miraculous feeling to be a mere servant….to hand carry this message from God. We all need to hear it – it’s the first and every lasting word from above.

To The Boomer’s Babies

My child of knowledge, without wisdom, your spineless acts are to the contrary.

To The Boomer's Babies

Aggression – it has prospered. Words with meaning a generation ago, doesn’t mean much to a new way of life. I watch the news as a few of our children fight for fame. They will more likely end up incarcerated. So, you think to liberate our beloved homeland is the answer? To make change, for better or for worse, tell me where God is in this equation.

The insubordinates that never attend church, stand in the shadows of the tall believing their rights are violated. My child of knowledge, without wisdom, your spineless acts are to the contrary. The history books will never mention the hate, the hell, and violent Revolutions of the Sixties (see article below).

To The Boomer's Babies 2

Your thoughts remain that all things are new. Well like bell bottoms or madras, the Boomers have seen it all before. Flexing your freedom doesn’t make it right. God stands quietly on the side lines with His collective heritage of souls.

My children of little faith, your draft number was never called. You have never fought another’s battles. “I am human first”, a quote posted on social media, was from a nice young man. He has never met ISIS where one’s life is not worth a damn. But his point, well taken, we MUST love our brothers.

To The Boomer's Babies cover

I wake in prayer, as corny as it may sound. I’ve found peace as others around me live in turmoil. You grasp at life, belligerent and trying to make your own mark in this world. Obviously, you do not believe in Christ or the gift of miracles.

Good luck is all you need. We thought so, too, at your age. But as we aged and experienced life, we did walk away with some wisdom. It’s something you cannot earn at thirty-something!

So, you want to take command of a country? Let’s scrutinize North Korea. Is that what you really want? Our country was founded on values and love for our fellow man; honor and respect for our neighbors; helping those less fortunate. This is not a home of genocide, “I’m human first.”

All lives matter, but let’s not forget that GOD is first! Christ was a miracle and so are you. Go back to our basic principles…you drive on the right. I hope you put God in your equation, if He’s not already. Learn from your Father’s wisdom. The mistakes we made, we made to protect you and your future! Be blessed and if you’re not doing it already, find a church.

Trials and Tribs

We all claim to have “wisdom” yet it’s the least used word to appear in the Bible.

Trials and Tribs

It’s early Saturday morning and I have a lot to do today which primarily includes making someone happy. But before I start, I give thanks to God just to be able to sit and absorb the quiet. Wandering through the cobwebs that linger from the night, a thought has emerged on a partially cloudy morn. So pondering, I go to recover the stats and now my only question is, why?

We all claim to have “wisdom” yet it’s the least used word to appear in the Bible. Reading on, I ask, why would a word that means having knowledge be rarely used? Further, the Old Testament shows this most influential word of credibility about 166 times and the New Testament around 52 times.

Now perplexed at all the messages related to wisdom, my guess is it is kept in Siloam. Drawing a conclusion is like seeing the sun resonate in the clouds above. Asking for understanding, I seek a higher power. Knowing trials and tribulations are the passages we enter into, I ask for comprehension.

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. (James 1:5)

Oddly enough, the older of the two Testaments used the word three times as much. Though for all intended purposes, I would think the writings would explore more the creativity of wisdom. There’s no explanation of the lack of interpretation. Feeling a chill from my discovery, I’m wondering where wisdom comes from. It’s certainly not connected to teeth like they were pulled out when I was young. But the trials and tribs we experience gives us all a gift to share.

Trials and Tribs 2

Every morning that I wake, I ask God for the wisdom to make it through the day. Like to study the heavens or a faraway land, I’m reaching to learn or comprehend.

Wisdom, the application of God’s word, is that which gives us common sense and productive choices. It is the beginning and the end of fearing God and thus obedience to His word.

I pray you will be blessed with His infinite wisdom too! As the word “OK” is utilitarian, wisdom is the language of experience in any country.

Related Verse:

Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, and the one who gets understanding, for the gain from her is better than gain from silver and her profit better than gold. She is more precious than jewels, and nothing you desire can compare with her. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. … (Proverbs 3: 13-18)
