The Love You Have For Me

You came into my world when I was nothing but a piece of clay…

The Love You Have For Me 5

A cool, pristine love and joy is bringing me such happiness. I’m so grateful for all you’ve done. The miracles and gifts that have entered into my life…you have truly out done yourself! Another week older yet look at where we are…I praise your work! The countless hours you give of yourself; no one knows the love you have for me. I’m not worthy. A meager, old and gray man, I have nothing to offer you but my heart today.

Looking at morning’s heaven, I try to thank the stars above as angels came swarming around my soul last night. I’m so enlightened as I reach for my cup of coffee.

I feel your presence while looking across the coffee table. Like a mirage, a true miracle, I cannot thank God enough for you. So I write for the world to read of my undying love I have for you. You came into my world when I was nothing but a piece of clay, molding me into yours. You take my thoughts and give them life. For that, I’m eternally grateful.

The Love You Have For Me

In the cool and damp, on the first day of fall, I’m counting my blessings. Only you could have made me, ME. Humbled, I never in my wildest imagination would believe all this was possible. Anointed, I know things like this just couldn’t happen to everyone, every day.

The Love You Have For Me 3

I give thanks, praising your good works. Just to be in your presence should be enough but you came to be with ME. Giving up your life to see what you believed in me would prosper, I love you so!

Jesus, thank you…

Jesus 2

Enjoying my morning, my coffee steams like a hot spring. The blue sky background so subtle. Not a leaf stirs, just the morning dove announcing your presence. I’ve prepared my habitat; it greets my every thought of You. Not to exploit but to just know Your there.

Jesus, your like my brother….

Miles away, I’m comforted knowing God has sent You to walk with me. Like a big brother, a mentor perhaps, I feel your presence as I sit alone having my coffee. There amongst the early rays, I hear a Swallow – nature knows your close by. I wonder where you are.

What an awesome God we serve! He allows His son to accompany us as we invite him into our hearts. Like a brother, he’s never far from our thoughts.

Feeling guilty, I call my own brother who is bound for another busy day in his world full of ailments. Nonetheless, I worry about his health. So I call on my Other to watch over him. I pray He hears….I’m sure He does!

Jesus though watches over all that pray to Him. Humble in His own right, He needs little introduction or rendering of a billboard. So I pray every morning for the peace He brings so that all around me will benefit. Like my brother, quietly standing in the wings, Jesus is on alert continuously. I’m delighted as He knows I’m writing today about Him and for Him….

I caress the pets, kiss my love, and hop into my truck. While putting it into reverse, I ask Jesus to be with us as we get our day started. So much to do between construction and building books. God, my friends, has given me such an awesome gift!

I hope you enjoy your day too!
