Morning Comes…I Am Here

What a beautiful world God has made!

Morning Comes 3

And so the morning comes…my eyes are dazed. The angels have protected me in my dreams. Finding the coffee machine, I think how blessed I am while trying to stay perpendicular. After all, it’s not easy being old! It takes a long time to get to this point. I ask God for his help to anoint my every thought today.

My mind still sleeps…zzzzz. I hear my joints creaking like an old schooner. I wander through the maze, like an obstacle course, to find my way out to the lanai. God greets me. I take a deep breath, stretch, and a smile arises like the sun. A gentle steady breeze blows across my bow. Set the sails, I say to myself. Cast the lines, take the helm Lord I’m all yours!

With coffee in hand, I feel the ship navigating through the currents. God, what a perfect morning to replenish my spirit! The sails bellow and boat slants starboard. The peak of the mast aims toward the heavens. A gentle spray christens my face as I try contain my joy. What a beautiful world God has made! Feeling such a peace as my hair blows in the breeze, I wait and watch the sun rise.

Though I’m merely sitting on an uncomfortable cushion, my arms rest, holding my now chilled coffee. I’m so thankful for the peace in my spirit as this new day arrives.

May the peace of the Lord be within you this morning too as you set sail, embarking on another day’s journey. God bless you, my friends!

What you are reading on my website is the result of a miracle from God. I am not a writer, though I am a messenger. God took a very dyslexic guy from Severna Park, Maryland, who never read or wrote a thing, and told me I was going to write messages to share with others. I do not have a degree, and English was my poorest subject. Trust me, it's only through God that I write. As you read, understand that we all have the ability to receive the gifts that Christ would like us to have, gifts from God. It happened to me, it can happen to you. Let God enter your soul and rule your spirit!
